With the ever-changing nature of the current situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to publish the “Daily COVID-19 Travel Update: Entry Regulations” series of blog posts.
Please read below the most recent travel updates and entry regulations during the coronavirus pandemic.
Only German citizens and residents are allowed to enter from the United Kingdom. They must have a negative result of a COVID-19 PCR or antigen test, taken within 48 hours prior to arrival.
Other Daily Updates
- Czech Republic – mainland Spain is now categorized as a high-risk territory. Passengers from this country will be subjected t to testing either prior to or after arrival. Also, all passengers from the United Kingdom are now allowed to enter.
- Estonia – passengers from the United Kingdom will be subjected to 14-day self-isolation, or 7-day self-isolation with two negative test results 7 days apart.
- Italy – only Italian citizens and residents and those with an urgent need are allowed to enter from the United Kingdom. These passengers must have a negative result of a COVID-19 molecular or antigen test, taken within 48 hours prior to arrival. They must report to the local health authorities after arrival, take another test, and self-isolate for 14 days regardless of the test results.
- Oman – all passengers are required to undergo a PCR test at least 72 hours before their scheduled arrival and to present a certified medical certificate of a negative COVID-19 test result. Passengers are required to pre-book the PCR test through https://covid19.emushrif.om/traveler/travel, pay OMR 25 test fee, and download the application (Tarrasud+) prior to arrival in the Sultanate.
